FACILITIES MANAGER

 

Job Title:  Facilities  Manager

 

> Hands on supervision of Building Operators, Cleaners and Contractors at 20 job-sites
> Prepare Quotes for customers for Extras to Contract
> Take all calls relating to building operations
> Prepare correspondence, Letters, spreadsheets
> Leasing and rental administration at various locations
> Maintain job-cost data & files
> Attend monthly Board meeting as required
> Prepare AGM packages, attend meeting and take minutes as required.  
> Have regular site or luncheon meetings with customers to find        problems before they become problems

 

Location & Hours:

 

> Central Toronto
> Be available by phone 7/24.
> Basic work-week will be 5 days, hours to be agreed - overtime     paid if billable

 

Remuneration: 

 

> Base $42K to 48K, paid semi monthly
> Salary based on qualifications & experience
> Bonus based on billable total work

 

Allowances:

 

> We will work with the successful candidate and subsidize an appropriate vehicle (possibly supply same)
> $300 per month vehicle allowance - mileage or gas card

 

Supervisor/Manager

 

> Successful candidate will work closely with the Company’s General Manager during training period of 3 months
 > thereafter, will prepare weekly written reports

 

Qualifications:

 

> Must have 5 years experience & CRPM designation or equivalent
> Proficient with MS Word & Excel
> Familiarity with PowerPoint & accounting programs
> Ability to recruit & supervise building staff
> Be able to solve building problems by quick accurate on-site evaluation in areas of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Life Safety, HVAC, and Security
> Work closely with General Manager during a six month probationary period
> Tests will be administered to short-listed candidates
